The way we look physically has a lot to do with the way we feel about ourselves emotionally. Everyone wants to feel secure about their appearance, but sometimes it is difficult to do when we know there is something about ourselves that we would like to correct.

Years ago, when I was only a teenager I developed hair growth on my upper lip and found it very disturbing and embarrassing. After much hesitation, I researched the process of electrolysis and began treatments. It was years later when I realized what a positive change electrolysis had made in my life, and it was then that I began my schooling for a career in permanent hair removal. I have been in practice for over 28 years, and for the past 25 years, leading area dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons have referred their patients to me for hair removal. It has been a very rewarding time for me as I have been able to help people conquer a problem which would have been ongoing if it hadn't been for electrolysis. I feel so gratified seeing the wonderful changes which takes place in a person's life, not only physically but also emotionally. It is a privilege to have the training and certification to make such a positive change in someone's life.

I am passionate about my practice and I promise you that as a professional electrologist, my focus will always be on your needs. Unlike years ago, we now offer insulated probes and numbing gels which make the treatments much more comfortable. The setting is very private and relaxing with your choice of either TV or soothing music. If finding a sitter for your children is a problem - it no longer is because my office is child friendly with a big screen TV and some children's games. My goal is to meet your expectations and make your experience with electrolysis a favorable one, just as mine was.

Looking back, electrolysis was one of the best things I ever did for myself. I can't imagine still having to deal with the shaving, tweezing, and waxing only to know if was a temporary solution to the problem - and in addition to that - it was making the problem worse. It was causing ingrown hairs, acne, scars  and stimulating heavier hair growth!
